Away Trip to Bangladesh Review

Novemeber 14th to 18th 2016
What an amazing experience we had in Bangladesh!! Despite all the initial security concerns, couldn't have felt safer and more welcome. Dhaka is the busiest city I've ever visited with 17 million people in the greater Dhaka area. The buzz, liveliness, action and ridiculous traffic jams meant you were always looking around to soak it up. Never will any of us complain of a Melbourne or Sydney traffic jam ever again as Dhaka peak hour runs from 8am to 8pm every day.
As for match day well our guide & driver couldn't have done a better job getting us through all the traffic and security, allowing us to park right next to the Socceroos bus. We were welcomed to the ground by the head of police and stadium management who were so happy that we'd made the effort to come to their country. And the crowd loved us and we would have taken 1000 selfies with all the locals. And of course the boys did the job and got the win for us.
Now we have two matches in March at home to get us through to the next phase where we are likely to have some fantastic adventures at premium destinations with NORTH KOREA top of the wishlist. Register your interest for next round of Socceroo qualifiers now.
