The IFT story

Born from following Australia away.

International Football Tours was founded by John McGauran to give Australia’s growing football community a dedicated way to experience the game’s biggest moments overseas.

John has been following the Socceroos for over 25 years and has taken football groups to Australian away qualifiers across Asia and the Middle East, along with multiple World Cups. That same hands-on approach shaped IFT: quality accommodation, sensible transfers, welcoming group functions, local discovery and enough free time to make the trip your own.

From Lebanon to Tokyo and across Russia and Brazil, the aim has stayed simple—make it easier for Australian supporters to get closer to the football and share the journey with people who care just as much.
